Most of us live at a slight distance from ourselves, always managing, coping, and performing. Embodiment coaching is where you release the tension you’ve been holding, down to the kind of tired sleep doesn’t fix. It’s not therapy, yoga, or a performance, and nothing you do here is wrong.
Artist, Essayist, and Embodiment Coach
Actress and certified embodiment coach Brytni Sarpy has spent 17 years bringing complex women to life on screen, and now creates her own. She also teaches what performance taught her: how to be fully present in a body, a room, and a life.
The Artist-
Brytni found her calling in high school, onstage in Shakespeare's Scottish play. She went on to earn her BFA in Acting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, performing in Much Ado About Nothing, Time and the Conways, and Plumfield, Iraq.
Since then she has built a screen career known for emotional depth and range. She joins the cast of Days of Our Lives, and is known for her roles as Elena Dawson on The Young and the Restless and Valerie Spencer on General Hospital, and has appeared in Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots, New Girl, Netflix's Truth or Dare, Syfy's Karma, and the Sundance selection A Boy. A Girl. A Dream. Her voice work spans video games and animation.
She is also an essayist. Her personal writing, rooted in lived experience, lives on her creative writing page, @brytcut. She is developing original work for the screen.
The Work-
Years in front of the camera taught Brytni something most people never get the chance to practice: how to stay in your body when everything in you wants to leave it. Under pressure, in front of others, while feeling everything.
Her embodiment coaching brings those tools off set and into everyday life. Clients come to her feeling disconnected, stuck in their heads, or living at a distance from themselves. Together they dissolve what keeps them stuck and return to their fullest expression. At the heart of it is a simple belief: the inner artist lives in all of us, waiting not to be created, but returned to.
Long before coaching had a name in her life, Brytni worked as a personal trainer at Equinox, specializing in corrective movement and mobility. She understands the body from the inside out: how it holds patterns, how it compensates, and how it changes when given the right attention. Her sacred yoga practice keeps that understanding alive in her own body.
Modalities-
*Somatic awareness.* Learning to notice sensation, tension, and impulse, and to hear what the body is saying before the mind catches up.
*Breathwork.* From calming box breathing to energizing breath of fire, breath is used to regulate the nervous system, release stored tension, and shift state.
*Movement.* Guided and intuitive movement, including hip and sacral work, to unlock expression held in the body.
*Voice and sound.* Humming, vocal release, and crystal singing bowls tuned to each energy center, using vibration to open what words can't reach.
*Visualization and presence.* Guided imagery and meditation drawn from performance training, to anchor attention in the here and now.
*Somatic Pages.* Brytni's signature practice of writing from the body. Instead of journaling from the mind, you drop into sensation first and let the page follow, turning what you feel into language.
Her group work moves through the seven chakras, pairing each energy center with an area of everyday life so that insight lands somewhere practical.
Ways to Work Together-
*A First Conversation.* A free 15 to 20 minute call to explore where you are, what you're carrying, and whether this work feels like the right next step. No pressure. Just presence.
*Single Session.* One-on-one time that leaves you with a concrete body-based tool and one practice to carry into your week.
*Introductory Series.* A focused introduction that builds a foundation of body awareness and begins to surface the patterns most ready to shift.
*The Six-Session Journey.* The full arc of transformation: moving through resistance, building new patterns, and anchoring lasting change in the body.
*An Embodiment Circle.* A 90-minute immersive group experience moving through breath, sound, movement, and Somatic Pages. Available for private groups of 5 to 15.
*Custom Facilitation.* Programming for brands, teams, and member communities, with practical tools for authentic presence, performance, and intentional living.
Beyond the Work-
Brytni believes in and supports organizations including The Art of Elysium, Habitat for Humanity, The Do Good Bus, and Beautify Earth. She lives in Los Angeles with her pup children, Charli and Oishi, and spends her days writing, creating, and holding space for others to come home to themselves.
